Blog comment creates forum post (vBulletin Blog)
I would like to see a mod in which the first comment to a blog creates a post in a specific forum, and the discussion continues in the forum with a link (and an optional summary/complete blog post in the first post as well) back to the blog in the first post. Example:
Blog post titled "I Hate Bees" John comments, and a thread in the "Blog Discussion Forum" is created. The thread has an automatic title, [Blog Entry Name] Discussion, so we have "I Hate Bees Discussion." Jane wants to comment. The software displays a message at the bottom of the blog since the first comment has already been made on the blog entry "I Hate Bees": The administrator has elected for blog discussion to continue in [Name of Forum Set as Blog Discussion Destination]. Please click here to go to the thread within the forum to discuss the blog entry. Jane clicks and is redirected to the forum. |
