anyone know how to get rid of the missing security token error?

Where exactly are you getting the error? (What page and/or action?)

it works when people are logged out though but when your logged in you get this....

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

You need to request assisstance from the modification author, they should have provided an updated version of the modification which works with security tokens.
