Seperate Forum Mod (COOL IDEA)

Well i don't think this mod has really been created but i think making it would be an extremely sweet idea. Like I run a gaming forum plus a coding forum. basically when you come to page it forces you to register but when registering it gives you a choice saying whether or not to be apart of the Gaming Community, or the Coding Community or both, depending on what you select is what forum opens for you so it hides the rest of the forum you didn't select. So if i selected Gaming Community it opens all gaming discussion boards up and you cant see the coding part of the forum but its just hidden for you and you cant access it. But on the other hand the same way for the other selection you pick but if you select both it opens all the forum boards. basically to explain it easier you register for a certain user group that either blocks out a portion of the forum and opens another and for both you just basically include all forums with set permissions. Would you really need an add on for something like this or can you do it manually because I just don't understand how you would make it work that way without having a separate forum add on.

You can do this already with User Joinable Usergroups.

Would there be like well explained directions for this?

It will be in the manual: Usergroups and Permissions

anyway to include the joinable usergroup into registration so they have to select there?

Now if i wanted to have a certain style for the site like homework section would have a different style than the gaming style and all?
