weird MASK problem in 3.7
 

a week ago I upgraded my forum from 3.6.8 to 3.7.1 and I had a problem that I couldn't solve

when I try to edit a member's forum permission from the admincp I get an error message says :

invalid specified user

I did the upgrade 4 times again and again but nothing happened

yesterday I upgraded to 3.7.2 but the problem remains the same

I uploaded the files (especially admincp/user.php ) many times but also nothing happened

any ideas????

Is that the exact error message you get?

invalid_user_specified

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.
