Orphaned Templates

Any idea on how to remove orphaned templates?

I created a product with templates. Somehow, I managed to make it so that the templates cannot be reverted and they will not delete when the product is uninstalled. Also, when I am in the template editing screen, the Product field is missing (no dropdown or even text, nada!).
