Wtf ! Database Error

What is this !

A splash screen saying there is a database error and "the database has encountered a problem" has shown up.

It happened minutes ago and can;t access my site, or even log into admin cp.

I got a bunch of e-mails too, how can I fix this ASAP, and what caused it ?

Sorry about being rude, I'm pissed.

Is this vBulletin I should be pissed with, or my hosting provider.

Also, I optimize and repair tables regularly, usually every other day.

Fedorama,
Can you get on your web site adminCP and check your current Vb forum's MySQL database status?
Occasionally my web site provider, while doing backups, causes my vB forum's MySQL database to be temporarily offline, creating this 'error mesage.' After backups complete, all returns to normal.

You mean check cpanel ?

I can't access the vBulletin admin panel at all -

There is no need to do that, leave them alone.

You need to ask your host that.

Well, the site came back.

I'm on a Mac, and now backing-up has become my number one priority.

I have SSH access to my server .

I found that if I didn't do mine regularly, I would end up with errors if I set the 'post read' to in the database. I have no idea why, it just did.

Right click the page with the database error and select view/source. Post the full error here afterwards.
