Profile Realm - Social Networking
Me and my staff have been hard at work building up a new social networking site and are in need of feedback from users to help us shape the site to maximize its potential.
The site is: http://www.profilerealm.com Please if you are going to review it or provide feedback actually look around and don't just load one page and make a decision. Right now we are trying to stick with a simple layout as we build things up since things are changing almost daily around the site. |
Anybody got anything to say???
|
Still nobody?
|
Hmm is anybody up to the challenge???

Hi Tim,
Are you going to provide this mod here in vbulletin.org ? Review: It looks okay, not so good , no so bad, as I don't have a/c I can't test everything. You should work more on home page layout. Hope it gives you an idea. Best Wishes. |
Yea right now the homepage layout is just a simple one for the moment as we have quite a bit of stuff todo and that one currently gets the job done but we plan to clean it up more later on.

I took a quick scroll around, a few pages. I like what I see. I tend to be a perfectionist, so it bugs me that you don't have additional text for each forum (under the forum name). Yeah it looks great when you have a response/text for each forum (like how you have for Rants/Raves.... for everything else TV, Books, etc).
I also think you could use less forums at the moment. With only 500 posts, 38 forums is quite a lot. Start slim and when you start growing and filling in columns; indulge yourself and your members to some more forums, more space. I do think you could use some creative icons (for each category) as well (instead of those default status icons). Try IconArchive.com for one, but first you'll need the mod that will make it easy for you (search in the mod section). Good luck. |
Good idea for a site, although I must admit, I'm not overly keen on how it looks.
