Regenerate Datastore

I'd like to scrap the datastore rows and regenerate it. Possible? I think mine is messed up as it no longer allows vBulletin Settings to work...every time I try to set a setting it asks me to login, does nothing, and sends me back to the settings page.

At the very least I'd like to regenerate the options row, as that seems to be the issue. The datastore doesn't match my settings table.

Actually that sounds like a cookie issue. Have you tried clearing your cookies?

Many times. I've tried on multiple browsers, with all admins having issues. It just appeared one day, and now I'm forced to edit settings through the database thus the datastore problems.

Reset your cookie settings to the default, if you cannot access your AdminCP, upload tools.php from the /do_not_upload/ folder of the vBulletin .zip file to your /admincp/ directory. Browse to the file and follow the on screen instructions, there should be an option to reset the cookie settings.

I can access my admincp fine. I can edit anything, add forums, edit users, etc.

It's only vBulletin Options. I open it, change settings, hit submit and it brings me to a login. Then once I login I return to the same vB Options page without it editing a thing. I keep doing it and it keeps a cycle of submit -> login -> back to options -> submit -> login, etc., yet every single other page is just fine. Styles are fine, Templates are fine. Which is why I want to regenerate the datastore for options.

The only way to really regenerate it is to edit a setting and save the setting, this would rebuild the datastore. Try re-uploading the options.php file to your /admincp/ directory and also disable any modifications you have.

This is most likely not a problem with the datastore.

Some reasons for these symptoms:
- PHP memory limit too low
- Suhosin/Hardened PHP
- Mod_security
