Hi,

Our community model works like this: users share Articles that they find on other sites on the web and re-post them on ours (with proper references). Every week or so, one of the Admins will choose an article and mass-mail it to all users.

So we take the html from the print-view of an article, past it into the 'send email to users' text area box, and with the help of the send-email-as-html mod (i'll find the link later), we send the articles out.

Problem: it's really time consuming, having to mod and paste the html into the text box, send a test email to see if it works, then send it out to the list.

Solution spec: What would've been great is a wysiwyg box in the admin area so can simply copy/paste the article (previewing another mod right now to do this), but what would be PERFECT is an option to simply include the thread-id, and it'll send the print-preview version of the article out as an html email to the selected users.

Makes sense?... um, so, any takers??

anyone?.. we use our threads as 'newsletters' sometimes..
