Activations emails not sending to new users....help.
 
Hi,
I some of my users complained that they are not getting the activation email.......I am not understanding what has gone wrong....earlier everything was ok....yesterday I got this email -

Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'
vhosts\webmasters-forum.org\httpdocs\includes\class_core.php on line 311

Plz help what shall I do..:confused:

If you do not get that error email often - it is probably just MySQL restarting. That is OK.

Try running the email diagnostic in the Admin CP and also check your mail logs. Also, some emails may end up in "Bulk" or "Spam" folders.
