Setting exist for "Send email to pm recipient upon receiving pm"?
 

I'm in need of a feature that when Member A sends a PM to Member B, Member B receives an accompanying email linking to their PM inbox, tell them that a new PM is waiting for them. Surely I'm overlooking something in the vBulletin settings? Or do I hard code this?

It is a user option for each user in their User CP. To turn it on by default for new registrations, go to vboptions > registration options > default registration options > and put a check next to "Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received"

Thanks so much for the help, I had to look into setting vb_users.options correctly within phpMyAdmin for all preexisting members.

AdminCP > Maintenance > Execute SQL Queries > Automatic Query > Yes - Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received
