Thread prefix Usergroup Permissions
 

Hello there...

On my forums, i have many different Thread Prefix sets, some of which i only want to be usable by certain user groups, such as "Staff Prefixes" to only be used my Administrators, SMods etc.

Ive searched through VB.org, and looked through the ACP numerous times and cant find anything resembling what im looking for. If you can help, would be much appriciated.

similar, but not exactly what i need. I need to restrict per Prefix set, rather on a forum per forum basis.

eg:

General forum -

Admin Prefix Set - Usable by admins only - assign to user group ID# 1
Staff Prefix Set - Usable by Admins, Mods and SMods only - assign to user groups ID# 1, 2 & 3
General prefix Set - Usable by all members - assign to all user groups

i'm second about that :)

The only problem I see is that there are no hooks on the AdminCP Page which would mean that a hack would probably involve file edits. I might work on something this weekend or next, depending on my free time.

Aah, spose that does make it a little awkward. If do manage to get anything out of it, that would be great.

Currently only tested in vB 3.7.1

You'll have to test it fully yourself, I don't have a test board available to test a fresh install of it. It should work though :o
