tech contact email
 

Hi,

recently when my fourm was down due to some corrupt files internet explorer was displaying a message saying that the forum is down we apologise etc etc.. and then it had a hyper link to contact the support team or something click here and when i clicked on that link it came up with some wierd gmail email account. How can i change that??:confused:

vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details

thats the first thing i checked & its not there

any other sections that i need to look at?

That is where is should come from unless you have your own modified error code (in which case you would know you modified it, so you wouldn't be asking this question).

well in that section its got webmaster@domainname.com which is the correct one but in the error message it was saying something about DB corruption and to advise tech support when you clicked on the tech support link it was coming up with that gmail email.

some one installed vb for me and hes not contactable anymore so i want to know where else can i look for that email section & change it i didnt know it was this hard

The technical email is different from the webmaster email. The technical email is set in config.php.
