Request - Forum Subscription Tools
 

Hoping someone can help fulfill a need. I installed the Email Integration mod, but it turned out to be overkill for my needs. I don't need to have users submit posts by replying to emails. I simply want to make it easy for users to subscribe to forums and receive notices when new threads are posted. Email Integration does have a couple features I want:

1. One page where users can select from pull-down menus to select which forums they would like to subscribe to. Our users have the ability to subscribe to forums and threads, but few do because the process is not intuitive. Simpler if I can provide a link to one page.

2. An auto subscriptions feature that allows an administrator to subscribe users (by usergroup) to specific forums. I would use it to subscribe users to our most popular forums with daily notices.

I also installed the Instant New Thread Notification mod. It notifies users of new threads posted in forums to which the user is subscribed. The email notices include a link at the bottom for unsubscribing.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
