Adding Google AdSense in vB 3.7.x?

Hi there. :)

I am hearing that vB 3.7.x series has built-in advertising system now, and I'd really take advantage of it.

I paid for the brand-free version of vB Ad Management plugin from RedTyger a while ago..and I see it's only for 3.6.x series. Plus, the guy doesn't keep me updated as he promised with the brand-free versions (supposed to send me updated brand-free version everytime he updates script, but he never does) and now he is not responding to my emails..

So..I'd like to remove that plugin since it doesn't seem to work with vB 3.7.x and use the built-in ad system.

I'd like to place ads on forum thread listing page, forum threads, and posts..
- Forum thread listing page: 3rd spot down and then one ad after every 5 spots after that.
- Forum threads page: After first post and then an ad after every 2 posts..
- Posts page (single post): Above post and below post.

Help appreciated.. :o

The placement is horrible.
How can I edit the placement?

You will need to manually move the variables in the templates.

you have 9 placements that covers almost every spot. how do you find them horrible ?

place your adsense code in those templates. you may design the location using tables (simple HTML) as well.

No, it does not support to display an ad every x number of posts, ad after first post, ad after every x number of threads on thread listing page, and an ad above a post and below a post when viewing single post...so how can I do this?

Search for adsense in 3.7 Template mods. I also didn't like the way the default ad placements work, so I put them in myself. There are a ton of mod writeups to show you how to put them where you want them.
