Reclaiming SuperAdmin
My site was hacked and I got the db restored. I searched the forums here and used a number of posts to eliminate unknown files and reset my username via tool.php.
As soon as I was able to log into the ACP, I proceeded with banning all spam IP's, but in the process I banned my original admin(superadmin) account that had been renamed by the hackers. I'm still on 3.6.8, and I know I need to do an upgrade to 3.7, but I figured I needed to fix superadmin priveledges first. My question is how do I reclaim my superadmin priveledges? Thanks so much for any tips! |
Use tools.php from the do_not_upload folder.
