Displaying two skins in forum index
 
What I want to do is display two skins on the forum index so when browsing you will see certain categories have one skin and some have the other. i was told it could be done via conditional if statements but have no idea where to make the coding or where to start?

no .. only 1 style on forum index
you have to edit the default style to show the cats (colors) the way you want them (do not offer style change to your members)

you can set a specific style when visiting a category (ADMINCP / FORUM MANAGER / edit forum)
