Show when Admin is online
Is there a way to show other users when the admin is online? I want to put it by the welcome block to offer live support.
I searched but didn't come up with anything. - Thanks |
i don't understand what you mean ... by default all users are visible to others ... anyway you can change your status in your UCP ... :)

Unless Admins have set themselves to invisible, they show up in the "Online Users" list.
|
also you can set what usergroup have the rights to see the users that have choose the 'invisible status' ...
|
you did not understand guys...
it is possible to set a button on your page that will indicate when the admin is online... like all other live-support scripts, vbulletin store the sessions in the database and is aware when an admin is visiting the site... so it would be easy to code a condition to show the button when the admin is on... sure! |
What nexialys said is exactly what I am wanting to do. I am sure it wouldn't be too hard to do. I just don't know how. Sorry if my question wasn't clear. :D

Anyone?
