Image with Alternate Text BB Code

What does this do?

Hover over my avatar just to the right and notice how there is a piece of alternate text telling you when I was last online. This BB Code enhancement does the same for linked images on your forum. It's very simple.

Installation

1 custom BB Code to create.

Installation instructions

Admin CP > Custom BB Codes > Add New BB Code

Title: Image with Alternate Text

Tag: img

Replacement:

Code:

<img src="{param}" alt="{option}" border="0" />

Example:

Code:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/05/23.jpg

Use {option}: Yes

Then save. All is done.

Enjoy and click install. It should work without a hitch anywhere.

Update 2nd June 2008
v1.01: Changed the image tag from "IMGA" to "IMG". This will not conflict with the original IMG tag.

how we can fix original vbulletin php files?

Yea it would be great if this can be merged with the default IMG tag :D. Please do work it out :).

If I knew a way how to edit the original BB Code I would have definitely tried that instead of making a new image BB Code. I'm not sure where to start with doing that and I think this is the safest option.

If anyone knows though, please post a way.

I've found out how and have updated the BB Code. Lol, a really simple fix actually. No known security issues.
