Help! Forum Creation Via Moderator Page Needed
 

Hi Folks,

Im wondering is there a mod to allow a moderator or some designated person to create sub forums within a forum via the web page, basically we have different user groups with different permissions and each user group has one moderator which should only be able to add a forum and see details belonging to their user group. It would be nice to have a script as well whereby when they click on new forum it automatically populates it with preset categories. I know this is asking a lot but its a solution that is BADLY needed.

Creating forums and administring users are Administrator functions, not available to moderators. If they should be able to do so, then you will need to make them an Admin.

PS This sounds like you want to allow others to create subforums on your board. This could be against the license agreement.

Them being administrators isnt a problem I just dont want them to be able to administrate the whole forum, I dont think its against the license agreement since the vbulletin guys said all I needed was a hack, so basically a sort of sub admin would be what im looking for if thats possible...I dunno.
