Limit Profile Field Viewing to Friends Only

I need to limit viewing of certain [custom] profile fields to member's friends only.

This permission can be given by filed, profile field category, or even a profile tab conditional.

Please help. Thanks.

Although there are no privacy settings available in VB, the functionality is there.

Here is some basic code that you can input into the MEMBERINFO template to get this effect:

Code:

<if condition="$prepared['isfriend'] OR $prepared['myprofile']">

This is what will show up to people to user, and his friends.

<else />

This will show up to everyone else.

</if>

That's a great tip. Makes one jump back to CMPS and check how they utilize it in their built-in privacy setting.
