cron a daily forum closure for external based cron
 

basically, l used to use a php cron based plugin which can be found on the 3.6 modifications however after some server issues my main forums php mysql backup cron failed giving off 500 errors for some unknown reason...

the strange part is that it has not affected ANY of my other forums on the same server on different domains, so l have opted for a daily cron based backup, however ld would like to cron a forum closure for the times lve set the cron on server so no data gets messed up while the crons are in progress, pretty much like the php based cron that backed up the database but without the backing up.
