How can I do this?????
 

I am sick and tired of following my own forum rules. I want to post whatever I want, how long I want and such. I am sick and tired of going in an out of the admin panel and simultaneously changing my options to allow myself to post what I need.

How can I as admin, or at least user id=1 post whatever I want in however format I want? Any modification out there?

I want to post HTML, I want to post 100000000000 characters if I please, I want to post and do what the heck I want on the forum, it is afteral the forum that I run. Also I want to be able to post all the images I want and smilies. I want that because I am ADMIN, and I dont want to start to change 5000 options just because my posts are special.

Just change your usergroup settings.

Of course, as you realize, none of those are settings you can turn on and off. I suppose you might be able to find the setting variable and then create a plugin at the global_start that sets all those settings differently for the admin group (or just your userid). I used that hook to just disable ajax in two of my forums (or limit ajax features).

Hrmm is there no modification to this? I cant imagine I am the first to want this.

Admin Usergroup gave me all them options...

Well, you may not be the first, but you are the first person I recall seeing ask for this.
Yeah, I'd like to know also cuz they aren't anywhere I can find.

And once again this thread dies. Come on people, I cant be the only one wanting to post HTML in the forum as the only user. Admin overwrites all options has to be possible. Or usergroup overwrites option1, option2, option3 etc. Something of some kind.....

Maybe take a look at how an existing mod changes the permissions and then modify it. Allow Usergroups to Post HTML
