This mod will add Group Statistics for your board.

*Newest Group (ORDER by dateline)
*Most Pictures (ORDER by picturecount)

Nice, I'm searching for some mods that will highlight groups on front page, this is one good way, I however I would like to se more options.

It is possible. Save the data to datastore , prepare a cron file to update it hourly and call the data from datastore. Bingo no query.

I Think *.xml is easy way.!
