How to access gallery data ?

Hello all

I have an understanding of all the required languages needed for hacking vb, but i have a problem - i don't know where to start !

How would a vBulletin modder go about making a hack that accesses the latest added image to a member gallery ?

is there a function for getting info on latest uploads or anything similar ?

Is there an api / documentation ?
