Grace of the Valar LOTRO Kinship (Guild)

Seeking opinions of my Kinship site:

SEO doesn't matter to me very much, I'm more interested in suggestions about the design and colors.

1. I love the logo really !!

2. You may try changing the First Alternating Color which is white.. it does not look good with green.

can you plz explain how did you make the logo images change with refresh !!

did you use this ??

I used this script:

Very easy to use, just place all the images in one directory and call the php file as the 'image'.

Visually the style if very nice, which is saying alot because I don't like green.

The logo looks good and compliments the style nicely. There are certain areas which I think you can enhance. The text on the logo doesn't feel right, and the bevel (for me) doesn't compliment the logo. Go with a generic (old age font) which will keep the text clean and possibly introduce vibrant/rich colours (rich yellow). The map and sword to the left of the logo looks nice, it would look so much better if you didn't apply the hue and sat upon it. Keep the map with it's original colours intact (same with the sword) the additional colours will only visually enhance your site more.

The style looks nice, and being green there is no two colours that clash with each other than green and "vbulletin stock blue". I'd advise you change the navbits_start.gif icon for something custom and at the same time something consistent with the theme.

The last post icon looks out of place, it just doesn't flow, maybe change these for tiny orbs and a variation of... purple? that will match the rest of the style.

The button sets don't feel right with this theme. Try and go with something that will break out the green, wooden brown buttons? possibly with icons that fit in to the theme of your site.

Overall, I like the style and I really think it's worth making the adjustments and implementing those suggestions I gave. Nice work so far though. :)

I don't like the logo background, other than that, it's great.
