As long as you own a license you will be able to use vB.org. Owned licenses are considered owned after the year of updates.

so if we don't renew the license we cannot use vb.org (i mean download the hacks)

If you own a leased license, correct. Once you no longer "Own" a license (after 1 year you must purchase another leased license) you will not be able to use vB.org. An "Owned" license will give you access to vBulletin.org as long as you have the license.

so 'lifetime' access right Jeremy? cause the owned license never expires ... or not? :S

Lifetime access with an owned license. :) But there are ways to lose your access to vBulletin.org, example being breaking our rules.
