vb.org Archive - Creating a Search box for Post Icon

I've done some searching and haven't found a hack that provides what I require. I'm planning on creating a hack that allows a user to search for posts by post icon in the advanced search page. I would like to use post icons as categories, but I need to be able to search for those categories. In addition, i would need to be able combo searching. In simple terms, I need to duplicate the "Thread Prefix" search box and use it for "Post Icons".

I'm posting this because I'm calling out for ideas and suggestions to create this modification. I'm running vB 3.7.0

Any help is greatly appreciated.
