Out-of-Date Custom Templates Found?

There are currently 28 customized template(s) that need to be updated or reverted. Some sections of vBulletin may not function if you do not do this!

what is that? is that mean my vb style have to update it and change the new one? how could i keep my style and also can update the templates.

Compare the templates and see what changes have been made. Revert them one at a time and add back your changes. vb changes and/or adds some things in the templates between some versions.

it means the templates need updated and some new features may not work until they are updated ;)

You can compare the versions after you click the link that says you have 28 templates to update

Which is basically what I said in another language. ;)

i m scare to click the reverted button. last time i click it...my style change very ugly. and i really don't know how to update or add on the templates.

Copy your entire "old" template to a text file beforehand. When you compare the two, it highlights the areas that are different (in case the new template adds stuff). Once that's all done, put in your updated "old" style. That's the safest way to take care of it without losing your old changes.

And in the future, to make it easier on yourself, start commenting any code you add like this:

<!-- This hack name -->
code here
<!-- / This hack name -->

It makes it a whole lot easier to upgrade. ;)

did you try mailing the authors? they might update or know of someone who can update them, if your not comfortable updating the styles.
