Forum / post tracker - bit of advice
 

Greetings, i'm looking for a bit of advice and thought here would be a good point of call.

What i'm looking at doing is having a sort of "developer tracker", that would pull posts from external forums (only those made by certain users (developers)) and then create a thread on my own forums in a pre defined forum section.

Just wonder if there's an easy way of going about this or if it would involve quite a lot of scripting. I've searched the forums here and done the customary google check but all searches have come up empty handed so far.

Any advice? Suggestions?

Edit: I think I've found what i'm looking for (Click Me), but could do with a general bit of advice on how I would pull the info directly into forum threads, if for that matter it can actually be done.
