Metrics from Private Forum
 

I know that the RSS feeds for vBulletin don't pull from a private forum. However, I wonder if there is any other metrics that can be pulled from a private forum and displayed publicly on a non-vBulletin page, as to show that there is activity "inside" (and in turn, provide motivation to join the private area)

I'm thinking along the lines of "X of new posts", "X new posts in Y forum", etc.

Has anyone come across something like this or been able to pull it off within the contexts of vBulletin?

That can be done through custom coding, I don't know if a modification currently exists though.
