Help with posting High Score
Hey guys,
my website is www.east-imports.com, I installed CMPS and changed it to index.php (the old file name for the forums) and changed the forum file to forums.php. Now when someone plays a game and gets a highscore, it redirects them to index.php instead of forums.php where the highscore system is. http://www.east-imports.com/index.php?act=Arcade&do=newscore Which file do I change to make sure the arcade system goes to forums.php? thanks |
games are hardcoded to submit to index.php so please read enclosed instructions "vbdvanced or other portals.txt" ...
|
swap the names round and have portal.php as your portal you could then use an index.HTML for the front end of your site..

I also have the problem above. I can't save any scores on my arcade game system.
All my files point to .php4 so I usually have all the codes in mods installed changed and pointing to .php4 But the submission of scores doesn't work for me even after following the instruction on the "vbdvanced or other portals.txt" Now it points to ....index.php?act=Arcade&do=newscore But I want it point to ....index.php4?act=Arcade&do=newscore I copied my index.php and named the copy index.php4 so I have two of those files but it just won't work. Any help please? |
.php4 is not implemented in any game, so you do NEED the index.php which maybe could just include index.php4 ?

If I know where the code sends the newscore to the db, then I will be able to reconfigure it. Maybe I need to PM you the reconfigured file so you can take a look at it. I don't really mind having point to ....index.php?act=Arcade&do=newscore if it works right. |
