How to make Top Banner clickable?
What do I need to edit and put in to make my top banner clickable for example back to the main page?
I've looked in "header" and the coding doesn't exactly display the image name of the banner image I used/uploaded to the forums. |
You do something like this:
HTML Code:
<a href="linktosite.php"><img src="banner.jpg" /></a> |

I believe the banner is usually in the "header" template. You can post the code here and we can help you with it.
You could also go to: vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. |
Here is the header template that I'm using..
PHP Code:

It looks like you have navbar stuff in there also. I think this is the banner part, so add the <a> tags as suggested:
HTML Code:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center"> |
something doesn't look the same?
Your suggesting I copy and paste that in the template? If so where in the template? I guess I'm not following since none of that appears the same as in the template that I posted above. |
Thats because she didnt repost your entire template, compare what she did to your current template, if you cant visually see the difference, get something like beyond compare or araxis merge for file comparison.

All I did was put links around the images in the table that is just a few lines from the top of your code. But, like I said, it's hard to tell without seeing the site, but it looked to me like that was the banner section.
