when someone posts in any shoutbox it says "message (what should be there)" then has "securitytoken=39589zdxc98yedf7ffdg" and stuff. Whats up with that vb 3.7.0 rc4

Shoutboxes are modifications and not part of the core product.

Uninstall and reinstall is my advice.

OR find a shoutbox release specific for 3.7, as not all mods in the past will work with future versions.

IN ENGLISH: Not all 3.6 mods are compatible with 3.7.

Ive tried every single chatbox on vbulletin.org. No luck. Same thing, either it doesnt load, has errors, or does this. The cChatbox and MGC Chatbox work but do this.

Ive uninstalled, reinstalled, everything.

3.7 and 3.6

This is a result of the new security token in 3.6.10 and 3.7.0 rc1. You should read the modification thread to see if they have the fix or read this thread to fix it yourself. If you have other problems, you really need to post in the modification thread since they know the mod best. Implementing CSRF Protection in modifications

Or just don't upgrade to 3.7 and stick with 3.6.10
