Threads moved to hidden forums and subscriptions emailed to those who were subscribed
 
I don't know if there is a fix for this, other than not to have moderators post in questionable threads they have moved to the hidden moderator forums. If a member subscribes to a thread, and then that thread is moved to a hidden forum, the members still gets email updates about what is being said, even though they no longer have access to that thread.
