Similes window to stay open

I'm wondering if there is/or if someone could make, something so that the smilie window stays open after you post. So you have to close it when your done with it.

It is not possible since 3.0... for one reason... a little bit confusing:

When you open the smilies popup, it is identified to be owned by the present textarea ID you are using... each time you change the page, the textarea ID change., so it is impossible for you to use the same popup window for two different textareas, because the script does not recognize the new one...

You could do what I like to do to have all the smilies accessible: keep a second browser window open to http: // yoursite.com /forums / misc.php?do=showsmilies.:) Then just copy & paste the smilies you wanna use into your posts.

Many of my folks keep theirs on Photobucket, and keep a second browser open as well.
