OK, this isn't exactly a hack, but I have set up a chat template that automatically logs into an irc channel with the username. It uses $bbuserinfo[username] and works fine to a point. The problem is this:
When logging on a name with a space, it just sends the first part. So if Peter Pan logs in, he goes on as Peter. Then if Peter Piper comes along, he also would go on as Peter, but gets rejected. Is there a simple way to turn Peter Pan into PeterPan and Peter Piper into PeterPiper? I've tried surround it with "" and {} but no joy I haven't used any php because I know nothing about it. It is purely through templates. Thanks for any help |
It's OK. Problem solved :D
