Did you have your attachments stored in the database or in the filesystem?

oh yah,im using watermark attachment.

Are you saying you don't know if they were in the database or the filesystem? Well, basically, if they were in the database, then you have them. If they were stored in the filesystem and all you have is the database, then you have lost your attachments.

(I would strongly suggest learning to backup your files as well as your database in the future.)

What's wrong with that? Are you saying you can't back them up because they are over 300mb? I backup my attachments into a tar file once a week and they are almost 7GB. I back up my torrents every night and that is almost 200mb. I don't see why you couldn't back up 300mb worth of files.

in my country thats impossible lynne.
bad access for download and upload more than 1gb.

Lynne 04-19-2008 02:57 PM

Ah, OK. I actually never download them. I rsync them to another server. However, usually you don't have these sort of host problems and you should be able to backup your files and store them on your server in case there is some problem that occurs.
