Digest Notification Emails
 

I'm looking for someone who is experienced with the Daily/Weekly Digest Notification code to assist us in troubleshoot the following problems:

We have taken the Daily digest scheduled task and made a copy of it and set it to run every day, every hour to create an Hourly digest. The problems are:

1. The task is not being run every hour and when it does run, it doesn't always run at the correct time that we set it to. Is this an issue of server load?

2. When the task does run, it is sending out duplicate notifications, meaning I received a notification of a new thread at 10:30 and then received the exact same notification again at 11:48. Shouldn't it only send notification of a thread once?

3. We received a third copy of the same notification, as outlined above, at 12:30 however this was after the thread received a new reply at 12:20. The issue here is that the notification labeled the thread as "new" and not "updated". Shouldn't it only show up in the "updated" portion of the notification if we receives a reply?
