Problem When Setting Up New Usergroup

Hi

I have set up a new user group for paying members only but any members that are added to this usergroup get the following message when they log in.

Code:

me123, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I have gone through the usergroup permissions again and again and i can't figure out what i have done wrong.

Could somebody please help me figure this out as i have 2 paying members already and i have already spent 2 hours going over the same things again and again.

Thanks in advance
Ben Jones

Check the forum permissions for this new usergroup. Also ensure that it is not set as a banned usergroup.

Thank you for the reply

That can be checked through the usergroup permissions section.

No its not that, thanks anyway

They get that message as soon as they log in. They cant even see the home page.

Is this their Primary Usergroup? You need to compare the usergroup settings in that usergroup to the usergroup settings in one that works. Then, also go to Forum Permissions and do the same sort of comparison. It sounds like you have something messed up in the Forum Permissions area.

yes its there primary usergroup.

I have been through the usergroup settings and forum permissions over and over again.

Il check and compare them again now though.

Thanks for the reply
