Guest user permissions and googlebot
 
I have recently made a forum (http://lonman06forums.com) and have made it to unregistered users must sign up to view threads. The problem is that now googlebot is unable to view these posts. I have seen other sites using vbulletin that allow guests to view the first post of the thread, but not the replies. This is what I would really like.

Would anyone be able to tell me how this can be done?

Is there are plugin that allows makes vbulletin think googlebot is a registered user?

Not that I know of. Also, if you do something like that, google may decide not to google you at all. It's part of their policy to only spider what guests/unregistered users can see.

Or I can change my browser fingerprint to match googlebot and I can access your forum.
