Embed code not embedding

I turned HTML on, to allow my "trusted" guests to embed youtubes into only one forum. But, when they drop the code, the links turn into the text of the tube the original creator.
In fact all links turn into text links, like this

If I drop an msnbc link, it converts into the story link. But it still directs me where I need to go.

How can I turn that off, or stop links from doing that?

This doesn't happen with anybody else?

I would strongly suggest not to allow posting of HTML. Not even for "trusted" members (let alone guests).

Any idea why the links are converting to text links identifying the story? I don't want that.

Not with the information provided. Maybe a link to such a post would help.

Here's the link

Here is what it turns into after it's added to a post

That is not a vBulletin post.

Correct. What is happening is what I posted.

If a member posts a regular valid link copied directly from the address bar of the article he is posting about, it gets converted to a text link identifying the article. Just like what I posted as an example. This happens to any link my members post.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and now working the way I want it to. Thank you
