not sure if this is posted in correct area, but here goes

on the main forum / index page where is shows last post and it shows the title of the last posted message , is there a way to get a picture posted into there / with a hyperlink using html ?
like to open a forum/ post it / than close the forum up so can not be overwritten and it will always display that picture in the last post area.

I understand the idea of putting an image into the lastpostby area, but I have no clue what you are talking about next (forum/ post it / than close...). Do you have an image to show this?

I would like to open up a new forum
call the forum "something"
go into that forum, and post a title or thread with the pic and hyperlink
once that is posted, I'd like to close the forum so no on can post anything new etc...

example:

That is a re-direct using an image as the link. You just make a re-direct forum and in the description post the image code with the code around it for the link you want the button to go to.
