New User Management

I have looked and cannot find a mod for this. 3.6

Is there a new user mod where I can query new users in a particular date range and then assign them the appropriate User Groups?

We are a mostly private board with several user groups and permissions. I would like to be able to see new registrations and maybe their email addy, domain and some other profile fields to verify what usergroup they belong.
