Ajax Thread Ticker Box
 
Can anyone design a mod that shows an Ajax real time update of threads as they're posted?

The feature i'm looking for is identical to the one in the Inferno Shoutbox Mod.

Every time someone posts a thread it displays in realtime in the chatbox.

I'd love to have a small box on my forum index that displays this, possibly in the header or alongside the navbar on the right.

I installed and tested vbispy a few weeks ago. It isnt what i'm looking for really, preferably this would be a small box on the forum home.

The attached picture displays how this idea would look. On the right hand side of the Navbar, a small box ticking the latest replies over.

It wouldn't need to be a massive area, 5-10 of the latest threads with links to them and the user. Probably deleting the 11th one to save the cpu.

Anyone know how to do this?
