usergroup condition in template?

how do i make a simple condition to limit guest in vb's template?

I tried

<if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 1)">
You can't view!
<else>
Welcome!
</if>

How about:

HTML Code:

 <if condition="$show['guest']">

Stuff for non logged in users

<else />

Stuff for logged in users

</if>

(notice that it is <else />, not <else>)
