Smartness system
 

Hey, take a look at forums.facepunchstudios.com

They have a smartness system. They assure me it is basic code, but will not tell me how it is done. I'd like to have the same type of system.

Basically, when a user posts, it is checked for spelling errors. If there are none, the users smartness increases by one (or a changeable value, would be cool.) If there are mistakes, the users smartness decreases by about 30 (or a changeable value). But if the user then edits the post (within say 5 minutes) to contain no spelling errors, it restores the users smartness to its before value. Neither decreasing or increasing. So basically the end result here is the user does not gain or lose from the post if he edits in time.

Could somebody make me something similar, or point me in the direction?
