Creating Gamer Tags (3.7)

Hi, I am thinking of developing a gamertag mod for PS3 and Xbox360 users and I want to make it just like how the MSN, Yahoo, etc tabs work.

Can someone explain to me how one of the tabs such as MSN or Yahoo works, so I could get an idea how to create my gamertag.

I need template info for:
- Threads (where icons are listed)
- User CP options (the field to input the info)
- The tag html
- Contact Info when viewing Member Profile
- Member Page List

THe help would be greatly appreciated

1. Create your custom profile field and remember what the ID# of it is

For the postbit (threads) you'll need to use $post[fieldX] then locate where you want it in the template and just add $post[fieldX] into it, if you want to make it an image, or link to something then use html code like <a href="link to something"><img alt="$post[fieldX]"src="whatever image" /></a>

UserCP is taken care of when you create the custom profile field

No clue what you mean by the tag html

Turn viewable on memberlist when creating custom profile field and it should take care of the last two
