I have many large boards and multiple servers and got to thinking...

On one of my boards that I run by itself on a single server with over 300000 threads, over 2000000 posts, over 500000 members, and about 200-1000 members online at once any given time. The board runs pretty good, but has it's moments where the usage goes past 2.1.

And I got to thinking, i have my game server's kernel compiled at 1000hz to increase performance on high tickrate game servers. Do you think this same concept will increase performance on the forum server aswell?

note: sorry about my english. I tried to explain the best I could.

I've tested it at 1000, i didn't see any noticeable performance increases and thats on a forum that has 500000 threads, 5million posts & 2000 online.
