Change Forum Icon Images.

Can anyone please tell me how to change the forum icons?

I mean "Forum Contains New Posts" and such icons.

I want to use custom .png icons instead of the gifs i got with the template. How to change tit?

Thanks!

Modify the templates that use those icons and change the image they are calling to.

or just replace the current ones in the Statusicon folder in the imaged directory.

Seeing as he wants to use .png images, that wouldnt be possible.

As my first post says, you will have to change the templates that use those icons as they call to a .gif image and not a .png, so simply over writing them will not work.

@soundbarrierpro - he isnt asking to use category icons, he is asking how to use .png images for the forum statusicon images

Oh, gotcha. What is the benefit of using png vs. gif? I just overwrote mine with the gif images I wanted to use.
